Apostle Cyrus here … I was driving past a funeral procession yesterday when I noticed a few fellow brethren in attendance which had me a little baffled so today I contacted them to enquire why they were attending a funeral, I was surprised by their answer … each confessed that they were showing their last respects … I replied according to Jesus’s teachings in Matt 8 (21-22) … I further commented by stating … did you ever respect and compliment the person when they walked amongst the living … from memory … none of you had anything nice to say about the person before they became deceased, you hypocrites … the same rule applies to those who call themselves Christians and yet deny Jesus’s teachings … you would have been better off “not” confessing to being a Christian and kept your dignity then to show yourself a hypocrite … it is clearly written in the book of Acts 11 (26) that those who were first “Disciples” were granted the “Right” to be called Christians … Jesus further reiterates this fact in Matt 28 (18-20).
Brethren it is an honor to be known as a “True” Christian … but greater still, it is a privilege to be known as a believer of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in bodily form without “Blood and Water” in existence by the Holy Spirit of the Breath of Life, amen … something to ponder aye …
